so since i wrote that we are now getting 350K per month give or take a few

we do it because many people come back because i weed out the junk very actively / many of our link partners link back properly and those that don't link back are eventually deleted so we don't fill up the directory with spam and dead links and they link prominantly so they send traffic back and we are well optimised for the search engines - that helps a lot also.
