From time to time we hear about how a photographer has become very good friends with their "subjects." From the initial wedding shots, maybe to some mother/maternity pics a few years later, and then, literally, a life-time of family portraits, graduations etc.
We are just curious to hear about any interesting relationships that have developed if you so care to share . . .
I truly feel that the more familiar with the photographer the subject is, the higher quality the photos tend to be (or even just photo "opportunities" tend to be).
Also, does the initial opportunity make wedding photos all the more important - as introducing one's self to a potential life long client if you will?
Just Curious . . . I read an article recently that discussed this (vs. the idea of the "invisible" photographer etc.)
