Dpreview have been quick out of the blocks and reviewed the Nikon's most affordable digital slr to date the D50 a 6 megapixel camera with some great features - the noise levels for this camera appear very good and seem to out do the D70 and not to mention some of the other comparable DSLRs - the noise reduction tests for the night shot appear impressive and the resoultion and color test are comparable with the D70 seem to slightly have the wood on the ist whereas the Canon 350D, as you may expect, has a slight advantage - overall a very good performer - don't take my word for it read the whole review at the link below.
