"reset" - what do you mean by this
blurriness is usually a function of the lens not being able to put a sharp image on the film plane or movement / shake
so if you are taking shots on the tripod then shaking is out of the question as the cause ?
but if you think the metering is wrong and that maybe causing you to shake try the sunny 16 rule
On a sunny day correct exposure will be close (not exactly) to shutter speed = film speed at F16
so for an ISO 50 film set the shutter speed to 1/60 - 1/125 for a film rated at ISO 100 and so on.
this way you can check your metering.
does the image look sharp through the view finder ? - i am assuming its a SLR not viewfinder camera - then that should be ok
other than that the next thing that could go wrong when the film is not spooled properly and isn't flat - you can test this by putting film in winding it on and keeping the back open to see if there is a problem or by removing the lens and put the camera on B setting open the shutter and look to see if the film is flat
other than that not sure what could be causing the problems - there is a start - be systematic in how you test this - hope this helps
