I've been running this contest for some 19 weeks now. Participation is very good, averaging some 50 to 70 entries each week. I post the first three on the "contests" page of my website and 9 more that didn't make the winner's page are posted in the "gallery" page. There's no catch to this contest. The copyright remains with the photographer and each entry is clearly noted as such. Nor am I trying to sell anything. It's fun and people do seem to enjoy it week after week. The prize for the winner is a copy on my ebook, "How To Sell Your Photographs: The Tricks of the Trade." NO, you can't buy it. The original hard copy is often to found selling for huge prices on Amazon and the like. I turned it into an ebook simply to be able to give it away as a prize.
