    [SIZE=2]Thanks for including all the tech specs for the shot... I am always adjusting shutter, aperture, lighting, and focal length for different shots... it is nice to compare other peoples shots to my own knowing what settings were used... [/SIZE]

    Yes it is nice to have that info to learn about improving my skills and knowledge. Isn't it great that we have a forum like this where we can learn off each other - I can see from the photos on this forum how much I can learn from everyone else. There are so many excellent works of art here.

    I am unfamiliar with the DC lens how does it work - i notice from the specs you are using a f/2 - i would expect that to have a pretty shallow DOF - what benefit does the DC give you ?

    Defocus control allows the image to be softened either behind the point of focus or in front of the point of focus - Some people regard it as a gimmick, but I am still learning to use it as the lens gives very sharp images without the DC. It is designed as a portrait lens.
